Formally, playing cricket in Afghanistan was a dream, but after the Taliban's government, Afghanistan has activited their sports activities along with cricket. In first time offecially cricket started in Afghanistan in 2001, After some years in learning cricket, Afghanistan has built their cricket structure in stand up age. Afghans love to all the sports games; however, there were a long term war between the deferent Afghan groups. Now Afghan cricket team has played in ICC T20 cricket world cup in West Indies in 2009 and played very well.  and there cricket is now in progress.

There are some high class cricket players playing in Afghanistan Such as fast bowler Hamid Hassan, He has a good speed in bowling and He plays good cricket in all over the world. Current Afghan cricket team's captain is Nawroz Mingal. Finally, we hope that Afghanistan will show their cricket talent to the world.
