Both matches of quadrangular series washed out on opening day

COLOMBO: Pakistan women’s opening match against Netherlands women was washed out by rain without a ball being bowled in Colombo on Saturday.
The second match of the women’s quadrangular series, between hosts Sri Lanka and Ireland, was also abandoned without getting underway.
The next set of matches of the series will be played on Sunday, where Pakistan will face Ireland while Sri Lanka will play Netherlands.Earlier, Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by two wickets in a one-off ODI before the start of the four-nation series.
